Chapter 3. Operation

1.With the cursor on 1)TIME/DATE press ENTER. The results display the current time and date with the cursor on the T in Time.

2.Press ENTER to move to the first time position (hour). Use one or two number keys to set the desired hour.

3.Press ENTER. The cursor moves to the second time position (minutes).

4.Use one or two number keys to set the desired minutes. Press ENTER. The cursor moves to the third time position (seconds).

5.Use one or two number keys to set the desired seconds. Press ENTER. The cursor again moves to the third time position.

6.Press the down scroll key to move to DATE. The cursor is on the D of DATE.

7.To set the Date use the same keystroke pattern as for setting the Time.

8.To exit the TIME/DATE setting, press ENTER after making the last desired change.

9.Press the CANCEL key.

The unit returns to the opening of TIME/DATE setting with the cursor on the T of TIME. Any settings completed with an ENTER keystroke have been recorded. Any settings not completed by an ENTER keystroke are not recorded.

Keystroke Summary for Editing Time/Date:

Pressing ENTER after any numeric change always records the entry and moves to the next editing position. If ENTER is pressed at the editing position without making any change, the cursor moves to the next editing position.
