The Power menu items allow you to change the power settings. Select an item then press Enter to display the configuration options.

Enable/Disable ACPI support for Operating System.

ENABLE: If OS supports ACPI.

DISABLE: If OS does not support ACPI.

2.5.1 ACPI Aware O/S [Yes]

This item allows you to enable or disable ACPI support for operating system. Configuration options: [Yes] [No]

2.5.2 Suspend Mode [S3 only]

Allows you to select the ACPI state to be used for system suspend. Configuration options: [S1 (POS) only] [S3 only] [S1 (POS) & S3 (STR) Auto]

2.5.3 Repost Video S3 Resume [No]

This option allows you to determine whether to invoke VGA BIOS POST on S3/STR resume. Configuration options: [No] [Yes]

2.5.4 ACPI 2.0 Support [No]

This option allows you to add more tables for ACPI 2.0 specifications. Configuration options: [No] [Yes]

2.5.5 ACPI APIC Support [Enabled]

This allows you to enable or disable the ACPI support in the APIC. When set to Enabled, the ACPI APIC table pointer is included in the RSDT pointer list. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
