Manual Bell Ring

With a supervisor badge, you can manually close the bell ringer relay. This function could be used for fire drills or to test the bell circuit.

To manually close the bell ringer relay:

1.Press # [enter], swipe your supervisor badge

2.“Supervisor Mode” with show on the terminal display

3.Within 5 seconds press 1 and then 1 again on the keypad, the relay will close and activate the bell or buzzer for approximately 3 seconds. If you press 1 again within 5 seconds, the relay will close again. This can be repeated as many times, as you like.

Setting up badges that can activate the Supervisor Mode

yWhile in Terminal Manager open the PC400 Terminal Properties, from the Options tab select up to 4 employees that will be able to make supervisor overrides at the terminal.

yUpdate the PC400/PC400TX terminal. The PC400/PC400TX terminal will now accept the selected badge(s) as a supervisor badge.
