7-3 Skip search

When the search distance is specified in the menu, the skip search is possible. This function lets you skip quickly through a series of events and check each one briefly for alarm points.

1.Turn the power ON.

Check the connections and set the [POWER] switch on the rear panel to ON.

2.Set the menu switches.

Display the [DVR MODE] screen and set the menu switches. For details, refer to “Setting” on page 18.

[SEARCH BUTTON]: Set to “TIME”.

[SKIP DURATION]: Set the skip distance (time).

3.Start playback.

Press the [PLAY] button to start playback.

4.Execute time search.

Press the [SKIP SEARCH·EXECUTE] button to perform time search. The Still mode is engaged.

To check the event, press the [PLAY] button.

About the time search

Current playback position

If the current position is 10:30 and the [SKIP

SEARCH·EXECUTE] button is pressed, the position jumps to 11:30.

If the [SKIP SEARCH·EXECUTE] button is pressed again, the position jumps to 12:30 for event 2.

If the [SKIP SEARCH·EXECUTE] button is pressed once more, the position jumps to the start of event 3 (15:00).

If the [SKIP SEARCH·EXECUTE] button is pressed and held, it jumps to the end of recording.

Note:

If date and time are not set, time search cannot be executed. Set the date and time beforehand.
