5.9.8Erase Disc

This function is used to remove information found on a DVD+RW disk prior to exporting new information to the drive. Select <Yes> and press ENTER to start deleting data.

NOTE: This item will be grayed out when the selected device is not a DVD recorder or when the device is not selected yet.

5.9.9Begin Export

Select <Yes> and press ENTER to start exporting.

5.10Shutdown

This item is used to shut down or reboot the unit. If users must shut down DVR-4TL/8TL/16TLfor any reason, please follow the proper shut down and power on procedures to avoid any potential damages to the unit.

Select <Shutdown> in Main menu and press ENTER to access the Shutdown menu, which displays as follows.

Press ENTER on this item to shut down the unit. Do not remove the power during shut down until the message “You can safely turn off DVR now!” displays.

5.10.2Reboot

Press ENTER on this item to reboot the unit. The color bar and system checking information are displayed on the monitor until the unit is completely restarted.
