Select The Soundtrack

Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together. Or, when viewing a pre-recorded tape that contains both a main and a sub audio track, you can choose to listen to either one by selecting either "L" or "R" in step 4.

	ACCESS MAIN MENU
1	SCREEN
	Press MENU during playback or when VCR is in stop
	mode.

	● If the G-CODE screen appears press MENU again.

	ACCESS FUNCTION SET
2	SCREEN
	Place the arrow next to "FUNCTION SET" by pressing
	CH5°, then press OK.
	ACCESS AUDIO MONITOR
	SCREEN	FUNCTION
	Place the arrow next to	FUNCTION
	"AUDIO MONITOR" by	AUTO TIMER
	"AUDIO MONITOR" by	SUPERIMPOSE
3 pressing CH5°, then		2ND AUDIO
3 pressing CH5°, then		=AUDIO MONITOR
	press OK.	AUX INPUT
		AUTO SP/EP TIMER
		PRESS (5,°), THEN (OK)
		PRESS (MENU) TO END

	SELECT MODE
	You have five choices:	AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi	AUDIO MONITOR
	a– Hi-Fi
4 b– Left		=HI-FI
4 b– Left		L
	c– Right	R
	d– Normal	NORM
	d– Normal	MIX
	e– Mix	PRESS (5,°) TO SELECT
		PRESS (5,°) TO SELECT
	Place the arrow next to	PRESS (MENU) TO END
	Place the arrow next to
	your choice by pressing CH5°.

	RETURN TO NORMAL
	SCREEN
5 Press MENU as many times as necessary.

NOTE:

If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you make at the Audio Monitor screen.
