Setting up a satellite

The LNB can naturally also accommodate new satellites.

For this, the orbit position that you need to take a bearing on must be known. The “Antenna settings“ menu entry in the installation menu can be used as an aid for alignment of the antenna.

Arrive to the menu item "LNB configura- tion" via the main menu ￿and the „In- stallation“ - submenu with the ￿￿ and ￿buttons (plus password). You

select it with ￿and can then enter or select a new satellite.

Remember that your system must be set-

In the next step, move with ￿￿to e.g. the entry „User1“.

After pressing the ￿or ￿button, the shown on-screen display appears.

Confirm it with ￿.

The following message appears

You can now make the entries appropriate to your receiving system in the corre- sponding positions using the ￿,￿and ￿or ￿buttons and quit the menu by pressing ￿button three times. At the same time the new station data is stored.

Make the alphanumerical entries using the numerical buttons on the remote con- trol. For information see section "operating instructions."

To enter a name

You can change the satellite name in the LNB configuration menu using the num- ber buttons. Refer to section "operating instructions" for information about the exact procedure.

To remove satellite

To remove a satellite, select the "LNB configuration" menu, move the cursor bar

with ￿or ￿and confirm by pressing the ￿or ￿button. You will now be asked whether you wish to remove the satellite. You can either confirm your selec-

tion with ￿or cancel with ￿.
