Adjusting initial settings

Using the initial settings, you can customize various system settings to achieve optimal per- formance from this unit.



1Function display

Shows the function status.

1Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.

2Press FUNCTION and hold until function name appears in the display.

3Press FUNCTION to select one of the in- itial settings.

CLOCK AJST (clock)—OFFCLK (off clock)— FM STP (FM tuning step)—AUTOPI (auto PI seek)—WARN (warning tone)—AUX1 (auxili- ary input1)—AUX2 (auxiliary input2)—V.IN (AV input setting)—CAMRA (rear view camera setting)—R-SP (rear output and subwoofer controller)—E-SCRL (ever scroll)—TV (TV sig- nal setting)—D.ATT (digital attenuation)—

A.RESET (audio reset)

# To cancel initial settings, press BAND.

# You can also cancel initial settings by holding

down FUNCTION until the unit turns off.

# When you select CAMRA in V.IN, you can se-

lect CAMRA.

# When the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ- P6600) is connected to this unit, you can operate D.ATT and A.RESET instead of R-SP.

Turning the off clock display on or off

If the off clock display is turned on, when the sources are off, the clock appears on the dis- play.

1Press FUNCTION to select OFFCLK.

2Press aor bto turn OFFCLK on or off.

Setting the FM tuning step

Normally the FM tuning step employed by seek tuning is 50 kHz. When AF or TA is on, the tuning step automatically changes to 100 kHz. It may be preferable to set the tuning step to 50 kHz when AF is on.

1Press FUNCTION to select FM STP.

2Press cor dto select the FM tuning step.

Pressing cor dwill switch the FM tuning step between 50 kHz and 100 kHz while AF or TA is on. The selected FM tuning step will ap- pear in the display.

Note

The tuning step remains at 50 kHz during manual tuning.
