Switching Auto PI Seek

The unit can automatically search for a differ- ent station with the same programming, even during preset recall.

1Press FUNCTION to select AUTOPI.

2Press aor bto turn AUTOPI on or off.

Switching the warning tone

If the front panel is not detached from the head unit within five seconds of turning off the ignition, a warning tone will sound. You can turn off the warning tone.

1Press FUNCTION to select WARN.

2Press aor bto turn WARN on or off.

Switching the auxiliary setting

Auxiliary equipments connected to this unit can be activated individually. Set each AUX source to ON when using. About connecting or using auxiliary equipments, refer to Using the AUX source on page 55.

Switching the auxiliary 1 setting

1Press FUNCTION to select AUX1.

2Press cor dto select desired setting.

!VIDEO – an iPod with video capabilities connected with 4-pole mini plug cable (e.g., CD-V150M)

!AUDIO – auxiliary equipment connected with stereo mini plug cable

!OFF – No auxiliary equipment is connected

Switching the auxiliary 2 setting

1Press FUNCTION to select AUX2.

2Press aor bto turn AUX2 on or off.

Setting the AV input

You can connect AV components to the AV input with an RCA cable.

Switch the AV input setting according to the connected AV component.

For more details, refer to the installation man- ual.

!Select TV to watch video of a TV tuner as TELEVISION source.

!Select DVD to watch video of a connected DVD player as S-DVD source.

!Select EXT.V to watch video of a connected video unit as EXT source.

!Select AUX to watch video of an auxiliary equipment as AUX2 source.

!Select CAMRA to watch a rear view cam- era video while you are backing your vehi- cle.

2Press cor dto select your desired set- ting.

!OFF – No video component connected

!TV – TV tuner

!EXT.V – External video unit (such as Pioneer products available in the future)

!DVD – DVD player/multi-DVD player

!AUX – Auxiliary equipment

!CAMRA – Rear view camera

#To watch video of AUX source, set auxiliary 2 setting on. For details, refer to Switching the aux- iliary setting on this page.

#If AV system display (e.g., AVX-7600) is com- bined with this unit, connect the rear view cam- era to the AV system display. For details concerning connection methods, refer to AV sys- tem display’s instruction manual. Also, V.IN set- ting of this unit need not be CAMRA.
