Getting the Settings Right

Set date and time yourself

1Make sure that Get time from Internet is not selected.

2Select 12 hour (AM/PM) if you want to use this time format. Otherwise the RC9800i will use the 0-24 hours time format.

3Select a time zone.

4Set the date and time.

5Choose Next.

The RC9800i will now proceed with the setup of rooms and A/V devices.

Next, the RC9800i will prompt you with questions to find out which rooms contain audio-video equipment that you want to control with the RC9800i, as well as to learn more about the nature of this equipment.
