DUse the numeric keypad 0-9 to enter the VIDEO Plus+® programming number. (e.g.,: 5-312-4 or 5,312 4, key in ‘53124’).

Use keys to move to the previous/next entry field.

Press CLEAR on the remote control will clear the VIDEO Plus+® entry.

EThe default recording settings for record mode, repeat setting and VPS/PDC are used. To make changes, move to the respective field in the menu.

Press OK, use keys to select the repeat recording setting (None, Mo~Fr, Weekly) and press OK again to confirm.

{VPS/PDC }

Press OK to activate () or deactivate

( ) the VPS/PDC setting, see page 34 for more information.

FOnce complete, select { Continue } in the menu and press OK.

The timer setup menu appears.

HPress TIMER to confirm and exit the menu.

The ‘TIMER’ icon will light up on the display panel if a timer recording is set.

If the recorder is not in standby mode, a notification message will appear before the timer recording begins. If you ignore the message, the timer recording will not start unless you have switched to the respective channel.

TIPS: Set the appropriate recording mode for HDD recording. The same recording mode will be used for recording from HDD to a recordable DVD, see page 29.
