3Start “Windows Media Player.” In the menu bar, select Tools, Options and CD Audio tab.

For Windows XP

1Follow the steps 1 and 2 on the page 31, and uncheck the “Enable digital CD audio for this CD-ROM device.”

2Start “Windows Media Player.” In the menu bar, select Tools, Options, Devices tab, CD-RW Drive, and Properties.

3Select “Analog” in the “Playback” item.

7 No data can be read from any CDs, a disc is ejected spontaneously, or the LED remains purple when a disc is inserted. (The LED does not change from lighting purple to blinking blue and then lighting blue.) (P. 2)

Remove the IDE cable from the CRW3200E drive while the 4-pin internal power cable is connected to the drive, and insert the disc once again. If no data can be read from a specific disc or a specific disc is ejected, the disc itself may be damaged or deformed.

If the LED remains purple or a disc is ejected, no matter what type of disc (e.g., an audio CD, CD-ROM or blank CD, etc.) is inserted, contact the store of purchase or your nearest Yamaha dealer (listed at the back of this manual).
