1In the Device manager dialog box (P. 22), select YAMAHA CRW3200E Properties and then Settings tab.

Note

The CRW3200E drive operation may become unstable, depending on your computer environment. In such a case, uncheck the “DMA”. The “Simultaneous Data Transfer” setting does not affect CRW3200E drive operation.

When using Windows 2000 Professional/XP

1Log on to the administrator account.

2In the Device manager dialog box (P. 23), select the IDE channel (primary/secondary) connected to the CRW3200E drive and then Detailed Settings tab.

3Set to Transfer Mode.
