Disc tray

Holds the disc. It is opened or closed by pressing the eject button. (P. 26)

Manual eject hole

Forcibly opens the disc tray when the tray cannot be opened by pressing the eject button. (P. 27)

Eject button

Press to open or close the disc tray. (P. 26)

Headphone jack

Connects headphones or external speakers to the drive; has stereo mini- jack specifications.

Headphone volume dial

Controls the volume of the headphones. The volume increases as the dial is turned to the right.

LED

Indicates the operational status of the CRW3200E drive by its colors and blinking patterns.

Lights or blinks blue

Lights: Standby (with disc)

Blinks: Opening/Closing disc tray, or reading disc information (TOC)

Blinks rapidly: Playback audio

Blinks irregularly: Reading data

Lights or blinks purple

Lights: Standby (no disc) or the disc tray is open

Blinks: Accessing for writing or test writing

Blinks rapidly: Writing

Blinks orange

Power saving (operated via computer setting)
