Changing The Menu Settings

This camcorder is equipped with an easy-to-use, on- screen menu system that simplifies many of the more detailed camcorder settings. (

1For Video and D.S.C. (GR-DVX709/509 only) Recording Menus:

●Set the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch to “VIDEO” or “MEMORY”. (GR-DVX709/509 only)

●Set the Power Switch to “M” while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch.

For Video Playback Menus:

●Set the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch to “VIDEO”. (GR-DVX709/509 only)

●Set the Power Switch to “P” while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch.

●For D.S.C. Playback Menus (GR-DVX709/509 only), refer to “D.S.C. PLAYBACK” (
pg. 28).

2Open the LCD monitor fully, or pull out the viewfinder fully.

3Press the MENU Wheel in. The Menu Screen appears.

4Rotate the MENU Wheel to select the desired function, and press it. The selected function menu appears.

5Setting procedure hereafter depends on the selected function.

1)Rotate the MENU Wheel to select the desired parameter.
