Transferring Your Images (Windows)

You can transfer images from your Palmcorder tape to your PC (Personal Computer).

System Requirements (for Palmcorder USB Device Driver/PHOTOVU MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System and ArcSoft Software)

•IBM PC/AT or compatible

•Pentium ll Processor: 266 MHz or more

•RAM: 64 MB or more

•CD-ROM drive (for installation)

•Mouse or other pointing device

•Windows98SE/Me/2000/XP preinstalled PC with USB port

•2 MB minimum available hard disk space (for Palmcorder USB Device Driver)

•15 MB minimum available hard disk space (for PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System)

•10 MB minimum available hard disk space (for Palmcorder File Converter)

•Minimum 120 MB of free hard disk space for Motion picture transfer from DV tape to PC (for PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System)

•235 MB minimum available hard disk space (for ArcSoft Software)

•High color (16 bit) or more (for ArcSoft Software)

•Video card that supports 16 bit color at

800 x 600 monitor resolution (for Palmcorder USB Device Driver, PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System, and Palmcorder File Converter)

•Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player 6.4 (for Windows 2000 users: Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player 7.1) or later

Palmcorder USB Device Driver/Web Camera/SD Drive

Install Palmcorder USB Device Driver.

You can transfer motion/still picture to your PC using Movie Messenger, Web Camera or SD Drive via USB. Using this driver allows data communication between the Memory Card and PC.

PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System

Install PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger™ System.

You can transfer motion/still pictures to your PC from a Mini DV Tape via USB and i.LINK.

Palmcorder File Converter

Install File Converter.

You can convert the JPEG data of your PC into the DCF (Design rule for Camera File System) data, and transfer this data to your Palmcorder via USB. Using this driver allows data communication between the Memory Card and PC.

ArcSoft Software*

Install ArcSoft Software.

PhotoImpression 4: Easy-to-use photo editing program to edit, enhance, retouch or add special effects to any image. Also offers creative solutions for making greeting cards and calendars.

Panorama Maker 3: Easy-to-use photo-stitching program seamlessly combines multiple photos into a single panoramic picture.

PhotoPrinter 4: Program to layout images in multiple sizes quickly and effortlessly to create a collage or photo album, all on one page.

PhotoBase 4: Create albums of image, video, audio, and other electronic files for easy viewing, retrieval, and management.

You can edit still pictures using the software.
