Applications Windows
The Applications windows provide options for configuring and managing a variety of applications and IP camera activities.
The following sections describe the Applications windows in detail:

•Alarm I/O Ports Window, page
Mail/FTP/HTTP Window
The Mail/FTP/HTTP window includes options for configuring the following actions that can be triggered by an event:
•Sending an
•Sending an event video file to an FTP server.
Note Even though the Mail/FTP/HTTP window allows you to configure the sending of event notification messages and event video files, these actions will not occur until you associate them to an event trigger as described in the “Event Window” section on page
An event notification message can provide a link to an FTP server from which you can download an associated event video file to a local PC. The event video file name is:
camera-name-event_name-yymmdd-hhmmss.xxx
where:

•yymmdd is the
•hhmmss is the, hours, minutes, and seconds at which the event occurred.
•xxx is the format of the file (asf, mp4, or 3gp), as configured in the Video Format
By default, the video in an event video file starts when an event starts and ends 5 seconds after the event ends. You can designate that additional video be included before and after an event as described in the “Event Window” section on page
To display the Mail/FTP/HTTP window, access the configuration windows as described in the “Accessing the IP Camera Windows” section on page
