1 tomato, peeled and seeded
1small chipotlé chile in adobo sauce
(from a 7 or
1teaspoon adobo sauce
1garlic clove
1tablespoon sugar
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 cup cider vinegar
1⁄4 cup vegetable oil or olive oil
1⁄2 cup tomato juice
CHEF’S BLENDER
Place ingredients in blender jar. Cover and blend at Medium about 20 seconds, or until smooth.
BAR BLENDER
Place ingredients in blender jar. Cover and blend at Pulse 2 times, 5 seconds each time. Blend at On about 5 seconds, or until smooth.
Yield: 12 servings (2 tablespoons per serving).
