Common Operations

Adjusting the non-fade volume

*The factory default setting is "NFVOL +6". (Adjustment range: -6 to +6)

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "NF VOL".

3.Turn the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the nonfader volume.

4.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.

Verifying your SIRIUS ID (Sirius mode only)

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "SID DISP".

3.Press the [ENT] button.

The source unit displays the high-order 6 digits of the SIRIUS 10 in the Operation status information.

4.Turn the [VOLUME] knob clockwise to change the low-order 6 digits of the SIRIUS 10.

To display the high-order 6 digits of the SIRIUS 10 again, turn the [VOLUME] knob counterclockwise.

5.Press the [ENT] button.

6.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.

Switching TVNTR mode (TV mode only)

This function switches TV to VTR.

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "TVNTR".

3.Press and hold the [ENT] button to select TV or VTR.

Setting the TV area (TV mode only)

The TV tuner area setting changes by the TV area you selected.

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "TV AREA".

3.Turn the [VOLUME] knob to select the reception area.

4.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.

The above operations are required when a TV tuner other than TTX7501 z is connected.

Setting the TV diver (TV mode only)

You can change the reception setting for the TV antenna connected to the TV tuner.

1.Press the .[MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "TV DIVER".

3.Turn the [VOLUME] knob to set the setting to "ON" or "OFF".

eON:

Sets reception emphasizing the visual. eOFF:

Sets the diver setting to OFF.

4.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.

Selecting AUX IN sensitivity (AUX mode only)

Make the following settings to select the sensitivity when sounds from external devices connected to this unit are difficult to hear even after adjusting the volume.

*The factory default setting is "MID".

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "AUX SENS".

3.Turn the [VOLUME] knob to select from "HIGH", "MID" or "LOW".

4.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.

Note:

For telephone interrupt, AUX SENS is always "MID".

Adjusting the display contrast

You can adjust the display contrast to match the angle of installation of the unit.

*The factory default setting is "4". (Adjustment level: 1 to 8)

1.Press the [MENU] button to switch to the menu mode.

2.Press the [!] or [T] button to select "CONTRAST".

3.Turn the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the contrast.

4.Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous mode.
