CD changer operation (optional)

You will also hear this warning beep if you press a station preset button for a radio sta- tion which does not broadcast the TP sig- nal.

Switch off the warning beep

a)Tune into another station providing traffic information:

Press the rocker switch or

press a preset button for a radio sta- tion which has a traffic program sta- tion allocated to it.

or

b)Switch off the priority for traffic an- nouncements:

Press TA.

“TA”will disappear from the display.

Automatic search start

(CD changer operation)

If you leave the reception area of the cur- rent traffic program station while listening to a CD, the system

will automatically start searching for a new TA program.

You can use this equipment to conveniently play back CDs with one of the following Blau- punkt CD changers: CDC A06 or A 072 (di- rectly) or CDC A 05 / CDC F 05 / A 071 (with an adapter).

The changer is not included with this equip- ment and can be purchased separately at a retail outlet.

Use only standard circular CDs measuring 12 cm in diameter!

CDs measuring 8 cm in diameter or CDs in different shapes such as a butterfly or beer mug are not suitable for playback using this equipment.

This may result in the destruction of the CD or the CD drive.

We assume no liability for damage to the equipment caused by playing unsuitable CDs.

Switch CD changer operation on

A magazine containing at least one CD must be inserted.

Use SRC to switch the audio source:

Press SRC until the changer functions appear in the display.

Select the CD and the track

Remote control

Select a CD

up

down

Enter the number of the CD you wish to se- lect directly using the numbers keys.

Display the CD list by pressing ME, make your selection with / and press OK to confirm.

Using the remote control select a CD by pressing ME, press / to select a CD and

ME to confirm.

Selecting a track

is also possible using the remote control up: press briefly

CUE - fast forward (audible): hold

pressed down

down: press briefly twice or repeatedly

Restart current track: press briefly.

REVIEW - fast reverse (audible): hold pressed down

To select tracks up or down with the remote control unit, press /.
