Access code

Barred functions can be operated after the access code has been entered.

Adapter card

Holder for small SIM cards. With the help of an adapter card, it is possible to use small SIM cards in

equipment which was otherwise designed for use with standard-sized SIM cards.

AF Alternative Frequency

This function enables the equipment to au- tomatically select the best available frequen- cy for the reception of an RDS programme.

Amplifier

Amplifies the output power.

AOC parameter - Advice of Charge

List of charges in which a charge per unit and a credit balance can be entered.

AUD Audio

Tone adjustments for bass and treble, fad- er (front and rear) and balance (left and right).

BND (Band)

Switches between wavebands and memo- ry levels.

Broker’s call

It is possible to make a second call without ending the first one. You can then switch from one call to the other.

You can also answer a call from a second party without ending the call to the first.

Call waiting

A quiet beep during a telephone call informs you that someone is trying to reach you.

Cell Broadcast

Cell Broadcast is a short message service which operates in numbered “channels”. The channels transmit different special mes- sages.

Request more detailed information and a list of the available channels from your network operator.

Changer

CD changer (accessory)

CL Clear (delete)

Returns to previous menu.

DSC Direct Software Control

With the help of DSC you can adjust the basic factory settings and functions to your personal needs and to store these settings.

EON Enhanced Other Networks

EON is an RDS service which makes it pos- sible to exchange station information within a station network chain. The radio will, for example, automatically switch from a non TA station to a TA station in the same radio network in order to broadcast a traffic an- nouncement. After the traffic announcement has been broadcast, the radio will switch back to the previous network once again.
