1On/Off
The set must be switched on before it is possible to use the telephone.
Volume
Adjusts the volume while using the
Adjusts the TA volume while using the
Adjusts the volume of the current ring tone.
Adjusts the volume of the handset for handset operation (optional)
Remote control
The functions described under “Volume” can be altered by pressing
2 / AUD
If this button is pressed while the tele- phone is in use, the microphone will be muted. This makes it possible to con- duct a conversation in your vehicle
without the party on the telephone be- ing able to listen.
3SRC (Source)
Press SRC briefly: The telephone func- tions will end and the set will automati- cally switch back to the audio mode used last (radio, Aux or optional CD changer).
The telephone mode has priority. It is not possible to switch to an audio mode if you are already talking on the telephone or trying to place a call.
If you press SRC briefly while the tele- phone is ringing: the caller will receive the information that the party he is call- ing is unavailable (D1) or that the line is busy (D2).
Press SRC for approx. 1 second: busy signal.
4TA (Traffic Announcement = Priority for traffic announcements)
To switch off the priority for traffic an- nouncements during a telephone call: Press TA during the telephone call.
5TS / BND
To switch from handset operation to the
Press BND and return the handset to its cradle.
6SMS (Short Message Service)
Use this button to directly access any new messages received. If there is more than one message, a selection list will appear in the display.
Press SMS briefly.
7PaX oder PAC (Personal Access) Use this button to directly access a certain function which has been pro- grammed previously.
Press the button briefly.
A list of the functions you can select directly will appear in the display: Press the button for approx. 1 second. Press / to select the function and press OK to save your selection.
