Adjusting the Sound Operation

Customized Sound Database

The unit is equipped with a Customized Sound Database that creates the most suitable sound for your car type.

You can fine tune the sound effects by inputting the size of your front speaker or tweeter, whether there is a Subwoofer, and the material of your seats.

1 Press and hold the CSD button for at least 2 seconds.

2 Set your car type

Rotate the Audio Control knob to select your car type, then press the MODE button.

3 Setting the front speaker

Rotate the Audio Control knob to select the front speaker type, then press the MODE button.

10 cm ←→ 13 cm ←→ 16 cm

4 Set the separate tweeter

Rotate the Audio Control knob to select whether the unit has a separate tweeter or not, then press the MODE button.

5 Set the subwoofer

Rotate the Audio Control knob to select whether the unit has a subwoofer or not, then press the MODE button.

6 Set the material of your seats

Rotate the Audio Control knob to select your seats’ material, then press the MODE button.

CLOTH ←→ LEATHER

7 Complete the settings

After completing the settings, rotate the Audio Control knob to select CSD OK, then press the MODE button.

CSD OK? ←→ CSD NO?

CSD OK: The unit automatically customizes the sound effect according to the above settings.

CSD NO: Returns to “Set your car type” in step 2.

NOTES

This function is inoperable when DEFEAT is ON (refer to page 9).

While making a setting, press and hold the CSD button for at least 2 seconds to cancel the setting.

Press the g DN or f UP button to go forward or backward to the next/preceding step.
