Cleaning the NURIT 8000
•To clean the PIN pad, use a soft, damp,
CAUTION Never use abrasive compounds or solvents, thinner, trichloroethylene, ketone- based solvents, benzene, or synthetic cleansers– they can deteriorate plastic or rubber parts.
Do not spray cleaners or other solutions directly onto the keypad or display.
Never clean the unit with liquids. Use only a lightly dampened cloth or soft brush.
Never rub or strongly press on the LCD display.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning and/or a soft brush.
To clean the printer 1 Disconnect the terminal from the power supply.
2Open the paper roll compartment cover. See Figure 11.
3Carefully lift the paper roll (see Figure 14) and remove any excess pieces of paper or dirt that might be lodged in the compartment. If available, use a low- pressure compressed air gun.
4Replace the paper roll. See Figure 12.
5Close the paper roll compartment cover. See Figure 13.
