Cleaning the NURIT 8000

To clean the PIN pad, use a soft, damp, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water and a drop or two of mild soap. For stubborn stains, use alcohol or an alcohol-based cleaner. For best results, use a VeriFone Cleaning Kit. See Accessories and Documentation..

CAUTION Never use abrasive compounds or solvents, thinner, trichloroethylene, ketone- based solvents, benzene, or synthetic cleansers– they can deteriorate plastic or rubber parts.

Do not spray cleaners or other solutions directly onto the keypad or display.

Never clean the unit with liquids. Use only a lightly dampened cloth or soft brush.

Never rub or strongly press on the LCD display.

Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning and/or a soft brush.
