You cannot go back to the previous tracks by pressing

To stop during playback, press 7.

To exit from Random play mode, press FM/PLAY MODE once or twice after stopping the playback so that the unit enters another play mode (Normal play or Program play).

Pressing one of the number buttons also starts Normal play with the track selected with the number button.

Repeating Tracks or CD—Repeat Play

You can have all the tracks, the program or the individual track currently playing repeat as many times as you like.

On the remote control ONLY:

To repeat play, press REPEAT during or before play. The corresponding Repeat indicator lights up on the display.

REPEAT ALL : Repeats all the tracks on the CD (in Normal play or Random play), or all the tracks in the program.

REPEAT 1TRK: Repeats one track.

REPEAT OFF : Cancels Repeat play.

To cancel Repeat play, press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT OFF” appears in the main display.

The Repeat indicator goes off from the display.

Prohibiting Disc Ejection—Disc Lock

You can prohibit CD ejection from the unit and can lock a CD.

To prohibit CD ejection, follow the procedure below:

On the unit ONLY:

1 Press and hold 7 when the unit is in standby mode.

2 Press 0CD.

The display dims, “LOCKED” appears in the main display for a while, and the loaded CD is locked.

3 Release your finger from 7.

If you try to eject the locked CD

“LOCKED” appears to inform you that the Disc Lock is in use.

To cancel the prohibition and unlock the CD, repeat the

above procedure.

The display dims, and “UNLOCKED” appears in the main display for a while in step 2, and the loaded CD is unlocked.
