Before using the cross training system, make sure that both of the cables are properly routed. Pull the ends of both cables a few times to make sure that the cables move smoothly over the pulleys. Move the butterfly arms and the leg press plate a few times. If either of the cables does not move smoothly, locate and correct the problem before using the cross training system. IMPORTANT: If

the cables are not properly routed, they may be permanently damaged when used with heavy weights.
