Troubleshooting

Use this chart to help you solve daily operational problems. If there is any problem you cannot solve, contact your JVC’s service center.

The display does not light up.

The power cord is not plugged in.

Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.

 

 

 

No sound from speakers.

Speaker signal cables are not connected.

The SPEAKERS ON/OFF 1 and SPEAKERS ON/OFF 2 buttons are not set correctly.

Press SPEAKERS ON/OFF 1 and SPEAKERS ON/ OFF 2 correctly. (See page 19.)

 

An incorrect source is selected.

The STANDBY lamp lights up after turning on the power, and soon the receiver turns off again (into standby mode).

The receiver is overloaded because of a high voltage.

Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel to turn off the receiver. After unplugging the AC power cord, consult your dealer.

Remote control does not work.
