7.1. Surface interval
An ascent to any depth shallower than 1.2 m/4 ft will cause the DIVING display to be replaced by the SURFACE display:
IT IS 15 MINUTES SINCE YOU SURFACED FROM A
HOURS.
Or, in the alternative displays, the following information will be shown:
•maximum depth of last dive in meters/feet
•dive time of last dive in minutes, shown as DIVE TIME
•the current time, shown as TIME
•the current temperature in °C/°F
•tank pressure
If set to NITROX mode, the following information will also be shown:
•the oxygen percentage labeled O2%
•the oxygen partial pressure labeled PO2
•the current oxygen toxicity exposure labeled OLF
7.2. Dive numbering
Several repetitive dives are considered to belong to the same repetitive dive series when the dive computer has not counted the
If you start a new dive with less than 5 minutes of surface interval time, the dive computer interprets this as a continuation of the previous dive and the dives are considered to be the same. The diving display will return, the dive number will remain unchanged, and the dive time will begin where it left off. After 5 minutes on the surface, subsequent dives are, by definition, repetitive. The dive counter displayed in the Planning mode will increment to the next number if another dive is made.
