Measure your heart rate if desired.
You can measure your heart rate using either the | |
handgrip pulse sensor or the optional chest pulse | |
sensor. Note: If you hold the handgrip pulse sen- | |
sor and wear the chest pulse sensor at the same | |
time, the console will not display your heart rate | |
accurately. |

that your hands are clean. Next, stand on the | |
foot rails and hold the handgrip pulse sensor; | |
your palms should be resting on the upper con- | |
tacts, and your fingertips should be touching the | |

When you are finished exercising, remove the key from the console.
Step onto the foot rails, press the Stop button, and adjust the incline of the treadmill to the lowest setting. The incline must be at the lowest setting or you may damage the treadmill when you fold it to the storage position. Next, remove the key from the console and put it in a secure place. When you are finished using the treadmill, switch the reset/off circuit breaker to the “off” position and unplug the power cord. IMPORTANT: If you do not do this, the treadmillʼs electrical compo- nents may wear prematurely. Note: If the dis- plays and various indicators on the console re- main lit after the key is removed, the console is in the “demo” mode. See page 22 to turn off the demo mode.
