How to wash correctly

IAdding detergent

It is important to dispense the correct amount, because. . .

. . . too little detergent results in:

Laundry not getting properly clean and with time it may become grey and hard to the touch.

Greasy particles clinging to the laundry.

Limescale deposits on the heater elements.

. . . too much detergent results in:

Excessive foam, which causes a low level of agitation and poor wash, rinse and spin results.

higher water consumption because an extra rinse is automatically activated

A burden to the environment.

^Pull out the detergent drawer and place detergent in the compartments as follows:

i

Detergent for the pre-wash (divide the total recommended amount as follows: add 1/3 to compartment i and 2/3 to compartment j). This compartment is also used for starch formulations when starching separately.

j

§

Fabric conditioner or liquid starch.

^Close the detergent drawer.

See section on "Detergent" for further information on detergent and the amount to dispense.
