Suds cooling for Cottons

When this is activated, additional water flows into the drum at the end of the main wash to cool the suds down. Hot suds can damage plastic drainage pipes.

Suds cooling takes place when a temperature of 95°C is selected.

Suds cooling should be activated:

to prevent the danger of scalding if the drain hose is hooked over the edge of a sink or basin.

where the drainage pipes do not comply with DIN 1986.

The washing machine is delivered with the Suds cooling option for Cottons deactivated.

Follow steps A to G to programme and store in memory.

Before you begin, first ensure that:

The washing machine is switched off.

The machine is properly closed.

Make sure that the programme selector is at the d Finish position.

APress the Start button and keep it pressed in whilst carrying out steps

B-C.

BSwitch the machine on with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

CWait until the Start button indicator light comes on . . .

D. . . and then release the Start button.

ETurn the programme selector to the Cottons 30°C position:

A P will flash in the display alternating with the number 0 or 1.

0= Suds cooling is deactivated.

1= Suds cooling is activated.

FPress the Start button to change the display from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0.

GSwitch the machine off with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

The setting you have selected is now stored in memory and will remain so until you alter it.
