Use the up/down arrows t highlight ENTER WAYPOINTS.

Press ENTER. A series of requests will be displayed beginning with SELECT NUMBER.

Use the up/down arrows to choose a number between 1 and 150. The NS 10 will not allow you to assign an already used number and will default to the lowest available number.

Press ENTER when the selection is correct. The SELECT LATITUDE screen will be displayed.

Use up/down arrows to highlight NORTH or SOUTH . (Refer to “Position” in the Glossary)

Press ENTER when the selection is correct. The SELECT LATITUDE screen will be displayed requesting a numerical coordinate.

Note: You may always refer to the right of the display to get information on your current position. The menu has no effect on this information, so your position, course, speed, and other information will always be visible when using the Select System.

Use the keypad to enter your numerical coordinates for latitude.

Note: If you enter an incorrect digit, enter remaining digits, then re-enter digits until the entire number is correct. Then press ENTER.

Press ENTER when the setting is correct. The SELECT LONGITUDE screen will be displayed.
