The ARRIVAL alarm sounds when you are within the specified distance of an interim or destination waypoint while travelling a route.

Press ENTER when the selection is correct. The ARRIVAL menu will be displayed.

Use the up/down arrows to choose the range from your destination that the alarm will sound. You may choose .1, 25, .5, or 1.0 in the units that you chose when you set-up your NS 10. Notice that the ARRIVAL alarm cannot be turned off.

Note: In a multiple waypoint route if you press CLEAR when the ARRIVAL alarm is activated it will cause the route to switch to the next waypoint This must be done while in the ARRIVAL alarm circle (refer to section V. Real World Applications).

Press ENTER when the setting is correct. This will return you to the ALARM menu.

Use the up/down arrows to select your next parameter for adjustment. Continue as before until you have made all necessary adjustments.

If your adjustments are complete press SELECT to return to the MAIN MENU. Press SELECT a second time to exit the Select System and return to the map. Or you may press MAP, at any time while in the Select System, to return directly to the map display.

The following adjustment menus are available in your ALARM menu.

The OFF COURSE alarm warns you of having drifted some distance from the desired route of travel.

Use the up/down arrows to choose the off course range that the alarm will sound: .1, .25, .5, and

1.0(in the units you chose when you set up your NS 10) or you may turn the OFF COURSE alarm off.
