Use the keypad to enter the new numerical longitude coordinate.

Press ENTER when the setting is correct. The CHANGE SYMBOL screen will be displaye.

Use the up/down arrows to choose a new waypoint symbol.

Press ENTER when the setting is correct. The CHANGE NAME screen will be displayed.

Use the up/down arrows to select the individual letters of the new waypoint name. If you do not wish to change the waypoint name, press SELECT to exit the SELECT WAYPOINT menu. Press SELECT again to exit to the WAYPOINT MENU. Continue pressing SELECT to reach the graphic area or press the MAP key to return directly to the map display.

Press ENTER after each correct letter. All eight spaces do not have to be used.

Press SELECT when the name is complete. The changes you have made are now permanently stored with that waypoint. The SELECT WAYPOINT menu will be displayed. Press SELECT again to exit to the WAYPOINT MENU. Continue pressing SELECT to reach the Graphic area, or you may press MAP, at any time while in the Select System, to return directly to the map display.

Waypoint Listing

Instructions for listing waypoints will be discussed next. A list of all permanent and temporary waypoints will be displayed with coordinate information.

To retrieve the MAIN MENU press SELECT.
