You may use the up/down arrows again to choose a different waypoint to list, or you may select a waypoint then press PICK or GOTO to return to the graphic area with the selected waypoint highlighted. If you press GOTO a leg to the selected waypoint will also be created.

Press SELECT to return to the WAYPOINT menu. Pressing SELECT again will exit to the MAIN MENU. Pressing SELECT a third time will exit the Select System and return to the map. Or you may press MAP, at any time while in the Select System, to return directly to the map display.

Creating Permanent Routes

A permanent route is made up of two or more permanent waypoints. The NS 10 has the capability to store up to 50 permanent routes. A maximum of 20 waypoints can be contained in a route. You may store a permanent route by using the Select System before or during your travel.

Entering a New Route

Press SELECT to retrieve the MAIN MENU.

Use the up/down arrows to highlight ROUTE.

Press ENTER when selection is correct. The ROUTE menu will be displayed.

There are four menu options displayed.

ENTER A NEW-Selecting this menu will allow you to enter permanent routes into the NS 10 memory, which will be explained in this section.

CHANGE/DELETE-Selecting this menu will allow you to make changes to permanent routes, to change a temporary route to a permanent route or will allow you to delete a route (Refer to "Changing a temporary route to a permanent route")
