The first thing to complete is configuring the PC for Ethernet.

Configuring the PC

If your PC is part of your plant’s LAN then you will need to have your system administrator configure the IP settings for the PC. If the PC is a stand-alone system then you will need to configure the network properties:

Step 1: Click Start then right-click on “My Network Places” and click on “Properties”
