Introduction

Baldor Series BSC 7107 control is a general purpose brushless DC motor control. This control commutates power into standard 3-phase brushless (BLDC) motors.

The control input line voltage is 120 VAC ± 10%. This control provides up to 7 amperes of continuous current to the motor. Motors with Hall sensor spacings of 60 and 120 degrees can be used.

The control has two PC boards-an upper and a lower, connected by ribbon cable. A 10-position terminal strip on the upper board connects the control to the motor sensors, the speedpot, and the forward/reverse control switch (optional). The control’s upper board also carries the trimpots for minimum speed, maximum speed, and current limit, as well as a means for selecting the sensor spacing.
