Note:

Loading the data back to the MP8II will change the current settings. SETUP and SYSTEM data will not change. You can use this function to temporarily change the setting from your sequencer. If you want to save the setting, you must use the STORE procedure and save as Setup.

8.3.2 Dump All SOUND

This function transmits all the Sounds of the MP8II as System Exclusive Messages via the MIDI OUT. Use this function to backup your Setups on an external MIDI sequencer.

Press the SYSTEM button. Then press the MENU-DOWN button until “Dump

All Sound” appears on the display.

Press the VALUE-UP button. The display will ask for confirmation.

To cancel Dump All Sound at this point, press the VALUE-DOWN button.

Otherwise, press the VALUE-UP button again.

When the data is done transmitting, the display will change to read “Completed!!”.

Dump All Sound is complete.

Note:

Loading the data back to MP8II will overwrite all the sound data in the memory.

8.3.3 Dump All SETUP

This function transmits all the Setups of the MP8II as System Exclusive Messages via the MIDI OUT. Use this function to backup your Setups on an external MIDI sequencer.

Press the SYSTEM button. Then press the MENU-DOWN button until “Dump

All” appears on the display.

Press the VALUE-UP button. The display will ask for confirmation.
