Fine Channel Level
The following steps show you how to balance the sound output level of your speakers more finely than in the NORMAL setup (see page 38). Proper speaker balance is essential for obtaining high quality surround sound and the better the speaker balance the better surround sound you can get.

| MASTER VOLUME rotates to the reference position (0 dB) |

| and after a few seconds the test tone is output. |

The default setting is 0dB.
Try to get the volume level of the target speaker to match that of the front left speaker, which is the reference level. Adjust so that you hear both tones at the same volume.
When you press ENTER you will automatically go to the next channel.

5Press ENTER to select a new channel. Repeat step 3 for every channel.
If you want to change a setting before proceeding Use the buttons to go back to the channel you want to adjust and press ENTER. Then follow step 3.
6When done select EXIT (if it's not already selected) and press ENTER.
