When the mucous membranes do not function optimally they cannot give your baby full protection from all kinds of germs. This increases the chance of your baby catching a cold or the flu and reduces the baby’s resistance to infection by mould and bacteria.

People need a cer tain level of humidity to feel comfortable.

Using a humidifier helps you to keep indoor humidity at a comfortable level.

A humidity level between 40 and 60 percent is recommended.

A humidity level below 30 percent can be dry and uncomfortable.

The hygrometer/thermometer supplied enables you to check humidity and temperature at regular times.

The amount of water vapour in the air is usually less than is required to saturate the air. Relative humidity is the amount of water vapour in the air compared to the amount of water vapour the air can hold at the current temperature.
