Is the return level set to “0” or close to “0”?

Press the [EFFECT] key to access Effect mode, press the [CURSOR] right key several times to display “EffRetLv,” and raise the return level.

Final effect does not apply

Is the effect insert location correct?

Hold down the [SHIFT] key and press the [EFFECT] key, and set “EFFECT ASSIGN” to “FINAL.” (→ p.35)

Rhythm

Can’t hear rhythm sounds

Is rhythm selected?

Hold down the [SHIFT] key and press the [RHYTHM] key, and in the page that appears set “Rhythm” to a setting other than “Off.” The rhythm icon will appear

in the upper right of the display.

The rhythm volume may have been lowered.

Press the [SYSTEM] key, and when “Tempo” appears, press the [CURSOR] right key four times to display

“RhythmLv.” Then adjust the rhythm volume. The recorder may be stopped.

Press the [PLAY] key to play back. The rhythm will sound when the recorder is recording or playing.

If you want to hear the rhythm while the recorder is stopped, press the [SYSTEM] key to display “Tempo,” and press the [CURSOR] right key to enter the Tempo Edit page.

Rhythm sound does not stop (volume is too loud)

Has the rhythm been turned on?

If the rhythm icon is displayed, hold down the [SHIFT] key and press the [RHYTHM] key, and turn the “Rhythm” setting “Off.”

The rhythm icon in the upper right of the display will

disappear.

Is the rhythm volume raised excessively?

Press the [SYSTEM] key to display “Tempo,” and press the [CURSOR] right key to display “RhythmLv.” Adjust the volume in this screen.

Nothing happens when you press a key

In some cases, a key may not function while the recorder is playing or recording.

Stop the recorder and try the operation once again.

In Effect/Tuner mode, it is not possible to change the “EFFECT ASSIGN” setting.

Press the [EXIT] key to execute Effect mode, and then select the desired setting.

Card

Display indicates “No Card”

Is the card inserted correctly? (→ p.12)

Turn off the power, re-insert the card, and then turn the power on once again.
