The presence or absence of this file will not affect the opera- tion of the PXR4.
3. Card management
If the available capacity of the card decreases or if the data on the card becomes damaged, you can “recover” the card. If recovery is unsuccessful or if you are using a new card, you can format the card.
Recovering a damaged card: Card Recovery
1Access the “CardUtl” page.
Use the [SYSTEM] key and [CURSOR] up/down keys to access the “CardUtl” page, and press the [CURSOR] right key.
2Access the “CdRecvey” page.
Use the [CURSOR] up/down keys to access the “CdRecvey” page, and press the [CURSOR] right key.
3Execute the Card Recovery operation.
When the display asks “Ready?,” select “Yes” and press the [CURSOR] right key.
Formatting a card: Format
When you format a card, all the contents of that card will be erased.
1Access the “CardUtl” page.
Use the [SYSTEM] key and [CURSOR] up/down keys to access the “CardUtl” page, and press the [CURSOR] right key.
2Access the “CdFormat” page.
Operation
Use the [CURSOR] up/down keys to access the “CdFormat” page, and press the [CURSOR] right key.
3Execute the Format operation.
When the display asks “Format?,” select “Yes” and press the [CURSOR] right key. When the display asks “Sure?,” select “Yes” and press the [CURSOR] right key to execute the Format operation.
When formatting is completed, the Song Create page will appear. (→ p.23)
