Display indicates “CdFormat”

Was the card formatted (initialized) on the PXR4? (→ p.61)

If you are using a card that was initialized on another device such as a computer or digital camera, you will need to initialize the card on the PXR4.

Is the card inserted correctly? (→ p.12)

Turn off the power, re-insert the card, and then turn the power on once again.

Display indicates “CdRecvry”

Did you turn off the power of the PXR4 while the card was being accessed? (→ p.61)

It is possible that the data in the card has been dam- aged. Execute the Card Recovery operation to recover the data.

USB

Your computer does not recognize the PXR4

Is the USB cable connected correctly? (→ p.52)

Re-connect the cable.

Your computer does not release the PXR4

The procedure will depend on the operating system of your computer. (→ p.52)

When you connect the PXR4, you are requested to install software or a device driver

Does the operating system version of your computer support the PXR4? (→ p.52)

CardLock

While USB-connected, it is forbidden to remove the card from the PXR4.

Do not disconnect the USB cable when this message is displayed. Doing so may damage the data in the card. Data can be written from the computer to the card inserted in the PXR4.

CdFormat

CdNotRdy

While USB-connected, no card is inserted into the PXR4, or the card cannot be accessed.

Insert a card. If a card is already inserted, turn off the power, re-insert the card, and then turn the power on once again. In this state, it is possible to disconnect the USB connection.

CdRecvry

(→ p.87: Display indicates “CdRecvry”)

CrdReady

While USB-connected, the computer is ready to access the card inserted in the PXR4.

Data can be written from the computer to the card inserted in the PXR4. In this state, it is possible to dis- connect the USB connection.

CrdRetry

The card cannot be detected correctly, or is in a state in

which access is not possible.
