3.3Loading Programs into the I/O Module

Before entering relay ladder logic in the controller, utilize the worksheets in sections 3.8 and 3.9, to ensure a successful installation and start-up.

The following sample ladder program is provided to demonstrate how the data is loaded into the SIMATIC 505±2557 module. Each channel is enabled for all functions supported.

This sample RLL loads the module with alarm, scaling, filtering, averaging, and function enable bits. V200 manipulation is left to the programmer. (See Figure 3-13).
