Operation Notes and Details

General Safety: The lift operator (attendant) and bystanders must keep clear of the area in which the lift operates and clear of all moving parts. Lift attendants

must ensure that lift occupants (passengers) keep hands, arms and all other body parts within the lift occupant area and clear of moving parts.

Control Switches

Lift Power ON/OFF Switch: This switch must be in the ON position in order to activate the lift. The green Power Indicator Light illuminates to signal power to the lift.

Hand-held Pendant Control: The hand-held attendent's pendant control is equipped with four push button switches (DOOR, STOW, DOWN and UP). The momentary switches activate the automatic lift func-

tions. Simply press the switch labeled for the intended func- tion. When there is power to the lift, the lift function labels illuminate to identify the func- tions.
