Lift Operating Instructions

WARNING

Whenever a passenger is on the platform, the:

Handrail belt must be latched

Passenger must be positioned in the center of the platform.

Wheelchair brakes must be locked

Inner roll stop and outer barriers must be UP

Failure to follow these rules may result in serious bodily injury and/or property damage.

WARNING

Read and become familiar with all lift operation safety precautions, opera- tion notes and details, operating instructions and manual operat- ing instructions prior to operating the lift.

If this information is not fully understood, contact The Braun Corporation immedi- ately. Failure to do so may result in serious bodily injury and/or property damage.

Before lift operation, park the vehicle on a level surface, away from vehicular traffic. Place the vehicle transmission in "Park" and engage the parking brake.

Instructions and procedures are applicable for the NUVL855RM24. Warnings and Lift Operating In- structions decal 34270 provides lift operating instructions. Replace any missing, worn or illegible decals.

If your lift does not function as in- tended or a visual or audible warning signal is activated, review the NHTSA Operations Checklist on page 30. Follow the Manual Operating Instruc- tions on pages 31-35 in the event of a power or equipment failure.
