Add a Party On Hold to a Call in Progress

1.Press (TRANS/CONF). The current call is put on hold.

2.Press the Line key of the party already on hold.

3.Press (TRANS/CONF). The call put on hold in step 1 is connected to the call in progress.

Leave a Conference Call

Do one of the following:

Hang up.

Press (CANCEL).

Note: If any party in a conference call hangs up, the other parties remain connected.

Return to a Conference Call after Accepting an Outside Caller

If the originator of a conference responds to a call from another party during a conference, the other two conference members are put on hold.

To resume the conference, the originator must:

1.Select one of the held lines and then press (TRANS/CONF).

2.Select the remaining held line and then press the Conf softkey.

Messages - Advisory

An advisory message about your whereabouts appears on your caller's display.

Create an Advisory Message

Access the Feature Configuration page of the Web Configuration Tool (see Accessing the Web Configuration Tool on page 10).

Enable/Disable your Advisory Message

To enable or disable an advisory message:

1.Press MENU , and then press >> until Features? appears.

2.Press OK, and then press Next or Prev until ADVISORY MESSAGE? appears.

3.Press OK. The first of several advisory messages appears.

4.Press (UP) or (DOWN) to navigate to the desired message.

5.Press TurnOn or TurnOff to enable or disable the message. When enabled, the Advisory Message appears in the information area of the phone display.
