You can also record your own message (see “Recording/Deleting an Outgoing Message”). When you record and select your own outgoing message, the system uses it for all recording time settings (1, 4, and Announce Only).

To select an outgoing message (your outgoing message or one of the system's prerecorded messages), press OGM to enter the outgoing message setting mode. While the message is playing, press OGM until the desired message plays. The system switches to the selected message and plays it.

RECORDING/DELETING AN

OUTGOING MESSAGE

Outgoing messages must be at least 2 seconds but no more than 30 seconds long.

1.Press and hold OGM when the phone is in standby mode.

2.Start your recording after the announcement “Record Greeting.- - appears. Then the message counter begins to count down.

3.When you are finished, pressOGM or PLAY/ STOP. The system beeps and plays back your message.

4.Press PLAY/STOP to exit.

To delete your outgoing message and use the system’s prerecorded messages, press DELETE when your message plays. The system announces “Greeting has been deleted.”

SETTING THE SYSTEM TO ANSWER CALLS

To set the system to answer calls, press ANSWER. If the system is set to record a caller's message (“Setting the Recording Time” on Page 35), it plays the outgoing message and the number of recorded
