16.Press the Change softkey several times, if necessary, until the setting announcem. is displayed.

Note:

If you select on instead of announcem. only the VIP ring tone will be heard on the secretary phone when the secretary phone is called by the executive phone. Several settings have to be made on the secretary phone for this purpose.

17. Press theDone softkey.

Setting up the secretary telephone

The secretary telephone is set up exactly like the secretary telephone in an Intercom configuration described above.

Using the VIP functions

After having made one of the preparations

1.Using the executive telephone as a two-way intercom system to the secretary

2.Making announcements from the executive telephone

you can use the VIP functions:

1.Press the relevant destination key for the secretary telephone or select the phone book entry.

2.Press the Speaker button or lift the handset.

“Intercom”: "Handsfree" is automatically activated on the secretary telephone. The two parties can now speak to each other.
