Operation at more than one base station

Start the setting procedure. The numbers of the base sta- tions at which the handset is registered are displayed.

Enter the number of the preferred base station and confirm with B.

Automatic search for a base station if the preferred base station cannot be reached

After selecting a preferred base station, a combined se- arch for base stations can be conducted as follows:

for 30 seconds, the mobile unit searches for the set base station

if this base station cannot be found, the mobile unit then searches for the base station with the best radio reception conditions

after switching on again or when out of range, the mo- bile unit again begins to search for the set base station.

With Gigaset 2000S handset

Start the setting procedure. The numbers of the base sta- tions at which the handset is registered are displayed.
